About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager for our Wholesale division. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of successfully driving sales growth across Wholesale customers and play a crucial role in expanding our market presence, driving revenue growth, and establishing strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Here are how your day-today responsibilities of the role will look like, but are not limited to:
- Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and potential partnerships to enhance sales performance.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to drive sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to drive business growth and customer loyalty.
- Prospecting and acquiring new clients, nurturing leads, and closing deals.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies and market positioning.
Experience
- Applicants should possess a minimum of five to seven years of relevant experience in accordance with skills we have highlighted, along with progressive sales experience with Wholesale customers
- A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Proficiency in using CRM tools to track leads, manage customer interactions, and maintain accurate sales records.
- Familiarity with the competitive landscape and market trends in the relevant sector and strong strategic and analytical capabilities to develop effective sales strategies and make data-driven decisions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving industry.
- Open to adapting sales strategies to meet changing market dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation abilities to secure beneficial contracts, partnerships, and deals with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. The ability to deliver persuasive presentations to potential clients and represent the company in a professional manner.
- Ability to work closely with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer support to align sales efforts with overall company objectives.
