About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a market‑leading company with ambitious growth plans on a fixed‑term maternity cover contract. As Content Marketing Manager, you will own the planning, creation, and execution of high‑impact content that supports brand awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement across the buyer journey. You will work closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Field Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Communications teams to deliver compelling, consistent messaging across multiple channels. This role is both strategic and hands‑on, requiring strong storytelling skills, operational rigour, and the ability to manage content streams end‑to‑end in a fast‑paced B2B technology environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the content marketing strategy during the maternity cover period, aligned with regional and global business objectives.
  • Develop and manage the editorial calendar across key content formats and channels.
  • Create, edit, and repurpose content including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, ebooks, webinars, email, and website copy.
  • Be a fan of AI tools – use them to be super productive but maintain the human element.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to translate technical value propositions into clear, customer‑focused messaging.
  • Support demand generation and field marketing campaigns with campaign‑ready content assets.
  • Manage agency and freelance writers as required to scale content production.
  • Ensure consistent brand voice, tone, and positioning across all owned content.
  • Optimise content for SEO, engagement, and performance across digital channels.
  • Track and report on content performance, engagement, and contribution to pipeline.
  • Maintain and update existing content libraries to ensure relevance and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ experience in B2B Content Marketing, preferably within a technology or SaaS environment.
  • Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end content programs and calendars.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience collaborating cross‑functionally with Product, Sales, and Demand teams.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience using CMS platforms and marketing automation tools (e.g. HubSpot).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use performance data to optimise content.
  • Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent degree or experience.
  • Self‑starter who can quickly build context and momentum in a fixed‑term role.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
