Your mission is to work within the Games Creation team, responsible for creating and validating math models for online slots and other games. You will be inspired by market-leading content and pursue innovation, collaborating with Game Designers to deliver best-in-class gambling games.
What you’ll do:
- Develop math models for gambling games that are robust and highly engaging to the player.
- Use spreadsheets and simulation to create the best gaming experience possible.
- Ensure all games meet necessary jurisdictional compliance requirements.
- Provide statistical summaries that can be easily understood by non-mathematicians.
- Work with game designers to turn game ideas into practical math models.
- Review proposed designs and features and suggest alternatives when necessary.
- Provide detailed statistical analysis of ideas under review.
- Put forward your own game design ideas.
- Work with the Engineering Teams that create the math model in a game.
- Document model data, structure and implementation details.
- Validate that game engine statistics match the math model.
- Help troubleshoot the engineering team’s implementation of a model.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the math development process.
- Support existing math models and features.
- Keep up to date with industry practices and developments.
What you’ll NEED:
- A degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- 2+ years’ experience as a Mathematician in online gaming.
- Use of Excel spreadsheets to design math models.
- Experience using a high-level programming language, C++ preferred.
- A portfolio of published games.
- Excellent English language skills, written and spoken.
