Job Description
- Accurately receive, load, store and execute shipment orders.
- Maintain contingency plans and operate in crisis situations.
- Execute updates in the computer system via operational tools.
- Inbound Freight: count products, weigh, compare manifests, check for damage, shortages or excess; report discrepancies on appropriate forms.
- Operate forklift to unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations (qualified forklift driver required).
- Storage: maximize space usage and safely put away items onto racks and ready rows using company system and scripts.
- Cargo handling: ensure correct product counts and types, transport orders to shipping locations with material handling equipment, verify markings and reference labels.
- Outbound Freight: confirm quantity, labeling, and address; sign necessary documents and move product into outbound delivery vehicles.
- Maintain equipment, keep warehouse areas neat, clean of debris and compliant with OSHA and Expeditors’ standards.
- Keep accurate records, assist in physical inventories and cycle counts, and key inventory adjustments as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within a warehouse is essential.
- X‑ray & ULD building experience is essential.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, own tasks, and work under pressure.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
