Overview
Expeditors is a global logistics company. This role is within the Ocean Export Department and focuses on ensuring timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system.
- Track and Trace Air Export Files and reporting.
- Use Workboard on a daily basis.
- Ensure arrival notices are communicated to overseas and customers.
- Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing.
- Interact with customers in arranging international shipments, meeting customer service standards.
- Contribute to maintaining good relationships with suppliers (trucking companies and others involved).
- Meet compliance with internal and external regulations in accordance with government regulations.
- Understand department process flow and identify best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure all customers’ standard operating procedures are in place and updated in the DLSOPs.
- Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company procedures.
- Communicate with customers and respond to emails and requests (internal & external) in a timely manner.
- Escalate problems to Management when necessary.
- Adhere to company training requirements (e.g., 52 hours per year per employee).
- Complete mandatory training as required.
- Promote compliance with all company policies and regulations and perform tasks with integrity and pride.
- EDMA resolution no more than 24 hours from time of notice.
- Take ownership of the accounts assigned.

- Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, etc.).
Qualifications / Knowledge
- A good understanding of Expeditors’ products, services and systems
- CECS
- LATAM Certification
- Billing Certification
- DG Certification
