Expedite Recruitment Services (ERS) are partnered with a leading Building Services consultancy who have an opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Plymouth team. Responsibilities
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver projects, including providing technical support
- Monitor budgets for clients based on their specifications to ensure work is delivered to budget and timescales
- Liaise with clients and external designers
- Compile specifications, drawings and contract documents to the required technical quality, ensuring designs comply with the relevant codes, standards, regulations and procedures
- Provide building engineering services design to buildings and infrastructure
- Identify scope changes, under the change control process, and maintain planning and cost control
Qualifications
- First and foremost, we are looking for an engaging, ambitious and motivated team player. You’ll be someone who loves working as a team, but also enjoys the challenge of working on complex projects independently
- Hold an industry relevant degree, and have 5+ years of Building Services experience
- IT literate with experience using AutoCAD, NES, Amtech, Revit, Cymap and MS Office
- Full UK driving license
