A growing multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its expanding Birmingham MEP team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer with 4+ years’ experience within an MEP / Building Services consultancy who is looking for genuine career progression, autonomy, and involvement in a diverse range of high-quality projects across multiple sectors.

You’ll work closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams, taking a lead role in the design and delivery of mechanical building services projects from concept through to completion.

The Role
  • Mechanical building services design (HVAC, ventilation, heating, cooling & public health)
  • Project delivery across all RIBA stages
  • Client and design team coordination
  • Mentoring junior engineers
  • Working on technically challenging and varied projects
Requirements
  • ~4+ years’ experience in an MEP / Building Services consultancy
  • ~ Degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
  • ~ Experience with software such as Revit, AutoCAD, IES or Hevacomp is beneficial
  • ~ Strong technical and communication skills
  • ~ Chartered or working towards chartership desirable
