Make an Impact

The Performance Marketing team helps Expedia Group connect travelers with the right travel experiences through data-led, technology-enabled marketing.

This role sits at the intersection of search marketing, product strategy, data science, and automation.

You will shape the strategy and operating model for Expedia Group's non-Google search portfolio, combining search expertise, experimentation, automation, and artificial intelligence (AI) to improve efficiency and accelerate growth across global markets.

In this role, you will Own the strategic vision and performance of the non-Google Search Engine Marketing (SEM) portfolio, including Bing, Yahoo Japan, and Naver

  • Develop scalable account-structure standards, testing frameworks, and decision-making playbooks for campaign management and optimization
  • Lead AI, automation, and marketing technology initiatives, including dashboards, monitoring systems, and AI-powered workflows
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Operations teams to define roadmaps and build solutions that connect business objectives with technical implementation
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for non-Google search engines and emerging search technologies, while influencing partner roadmaps through strategic engagement with Microsoft, Yahoo Japan, and Naver
  • Present strategic recommendations and business performance updates to senior leadership, mentor colleagues, and build organizational capability in SEM, analytics, automation, and AI adoption

Experience and Qualifications

  • You have a bachelor's degree in a quantitative, technical, or business discipline; or equivalent related professional experience
  • You have advanced SQL and Microsoft Excel skills, with experience analyzing large datasets
  • You have experience with Python, automation technologies, AI tools, marketing technology platforms, or APIs
  • You have a strong understanding of SEM strategy, experimentation, bidding systems, and performance optimization
  • You can translate business objectives into practical technical solutions and work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
  • You have proficient communication, stakeholder management, project leadership, and mentoring skills
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • You have experience building AI-enabled marketing solutions or internal automation tools
  • You have experience operating within complex, global performance marketing organizations
  • You have demonstrated the ability to shape product roadmaps and develop long-term strategic plans
