Introduction to the team: Expedia Group Advertising (EGA) is dedicated to building creative media partnerships for travel advertisers enabling them to use Expedia's network of leading travel brands and global sites. We have revolutionized the way brands reach and connect with online travel consumers, emerging as a leader in online advertising sales among travel and e-commerce brands. With a growing product portfolio offering a multitude of advertising and sponsorship opportunities, our Media Solutions team at Expedia has built a viable marketing platform for advertising partners worldwide.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Enablement professional, passionate about developing, improving, and implementing Sales enablement and improvement programs. In this role, your primary focus is on sales training and content design. This includes producing sales programs, maintaining and improving those programs, and implementing the programs with live trainings, videos and modules. You will also assist senior sales management in the development and execution of a sales onboarding program.

You will be called on to conduct live presentations, organise Sales events (Sales Kick-Off, account planning days, etc.), and conduct other meetings globally as required. As the Sales Enablement specialist, you must have extraordinary communication skills and the ability to design training programs from scratch. You are an authoritative personality with sales training experience or confirmed potential. You are always in search of program improvement and unafraid of change and disruption.

This role is part of the EGA Field Operation team, responsible for sales enablement, sales processes & tools, variable incentive plans and territory management. This is a full-time position located either in London or Madrid Expedia Offices.

In this role, you will:

  • Improve and maintain existing EGA sales training program
  • Develop training and onboarding content to continue to improve sales skills of the Sales team
  • Use Seismic to build engaging content and modules for interactive trainings
  • Partner with Sales, Product and Analytics to include the proper measurements for sales success.
  • Deliver live training and planning sessions as required.
  • Partner with other Field Operation team members on x-functional initiatives aimed at driving sales productivity.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably related to business or communications
  • Professional experience in sales and/or sales training related to advertising products
  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • Self-motivated with ability to prioritize and execute work with minimal direction or supervision
  • Builds and maintains specialized knowledge base regarding the business or functional technical area and relevant internal policies and procedure
  • Training program design skills
  • Strong communications skills
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to leverage AI solutions for content production purposes

Preferred experience:

  • Experience with an e-learning program such as Seismic and Salesforce
  • Experience with the Tech and Advertisement industry
  • Advanced skills in 2D/3D graphic design and image manipulation
  • Video storyboarding, scripting, production and editing of live and animated graphic shorts

The total cash range for this position in Madrid is €53,000.00 to €74,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to €85,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
