We create and deliver tailored marketing strategies for Expedia Group’s brands, focusing on establishing strong connections and cohesive experiences for travelers and partners. We’re seeking an experienced Senior Merchandising Production Specialist to support and scale our onsite marketing efforts. The role requires strong customer engagement expertise, technical proficiency, and the ability to mentor junior team members while delivering high‑quality merchandising experiences across multiple markets.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the development and execution of complex promotions (flash sales, loyalty offers, gifting campaigns) across bespoke onsite and email landing pages for 10+ markets, ensuring the highest quality and attention to detail on internal tools.
- Maintain clear merchandising documentation, lead operational meetings, and mentor junior team members.
- Identify and implement improvements to merchandising processes and tooling to increase efficiency and ROI.
- Provide strategic campaign oversight, drive test‑and‑learn initiatives, support merchandising tool migrations, and serve as an SME to align communications with business goals.
- Ensure timely, accurate merchandising content delivery and manage performance against SLAs.
- Support issue triage, communicate with stakeholders, and drive mitigation strategies.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues and resolve production or capability queries with minimal guidance.
Experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years in customer engagement marketing or a related area.
- Experience with large‑scale promotional and content‑management tools.
- Strong problem‑solving ability and independence in resolving complex issues.
- Experience mentoring junior team members and influencing cross‑functional partners.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- High technical proficiency in adapting to internal merchandising and marketing tools.
- Solid project‑management skills, including building schedules and managing timelines with minimal oversight.
