Senior Workforce Analyst (Open) - 12 month FTC
As a Senior Analyst, you will handle modeling forecasts, discovering insights, and finding opportunities through the use of statistical, data mining and visualization techniques. Your role will include:
- Collaborating with internal partners and transverse teams to analyze forecast variances, understanding and mitigating variance drivers, finding opportunities to improve operational efficiencies, and delivering against high organizational standards.
- Providing data-driven recommendations across multiple business lines, partnering with business stakeholders, finance teams, and vendor managers to build a thorough understanding of workstreams and key performance metrics.
- Developing and maintaining demand, workload, and staffing forecast models based on historical data.
- Maintaining historical data hygiene as well as proactively adjusting forecast models to account for changes in processes and metrics.
- Gathering and analyzing data to identify trends and patterns.
- Making recommendations to reduce workload and improve productivity for partner teams.
- Supervising and tracking the results of recommendations.
- Analyzing for potential risks in staffing levels and developing/implementing plans to aid the operation in mitigating the risks as needed.
- Utilizing system reporting tools to analyze current business processes and to support continuous process improvements.
- Finding opportunities for improvement through data - setting targets, understanding drivers, assessing performance, and modelling scenarios.
- Presenting results back to the business in a structured, data-driven manner - simplifying complicated concepts for non-technical public.
- Developing clear and comprehensive process documentation, workflows, and detailed work instructions for our services.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Have previous planning or forecasting experience.
- Advanced Excel skills and competence in use of analytical tools: SQL, Salesforce, Tableau, etc.
- Experience with one or more of the statistical modeling languages/toolboxes such as R, SAS, or Python is a plus.
- Analytical Mindset - a problem-solving approach that gets to the underlying business questions in using a variety of data sources.
- Partner Partnership - analytical resourcefulness and leadership, coupled with proven cross-functional partnership.
- Comfortable creating strategic recommendations and obtaining organizational approval at senior levels.
- Effective communicator - build and sustain effective communications with other roles involved in the project.
- Flexible approach - tailor experienced knowledge to meet specific circumstances.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
