The SEM Campaign Management team partners with the Product & Technology teams to automate SEM account processes for all Expedia Group Brands and Lines of Business globally on Google, Bing, Yahoo Japan and Naver. In this role on the SEM Campaign Management team, you'll work in an entrepreneurial environment and drive optimization of search marketing coverage processes globally, partnering with Product, Technology, Trading, Analytics and Data science teams to improve SEM accounts performance. What you'll do:

  • Execute on the fundamentals of search marketing - we seek individuals who are passionate about SEM
  • Manage and optimize SEM coverage processes
  • Collaborate with the wider SEM team to ensure our keywords and ad copy pairing provide a seamless user experience from Google and other Engines to our site
  • Look for ways to optimize and identify new improvement/growth opportunities
  • Rapidly test and learn to drive overall campaign performance and influence global roadmap for the team
  • Build ad hoc tools to streamline manual processes
  • Provide automation teams with specifications for building automated solutions like tools and dashboards
  • Collaborate with Partners (Google/Bing/Yahoo Japan/Naver), Product and Technology Teams to improve SEM products and influence prioritization
  • Maintain internal/external relationships with the wider Marketing organization and Partners on strategic initiatives

Who you are:

  • Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Science, Statistics, Analytics, Engineering, or any related technical field
  • Strong quantitative, analytical skills, including data manipulation, and processing large amounts of data to understand trends and make decisions
  • Experience in working with SQL and expertise in Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and interest in solving problems, particularly in understanding how consumers make decisions
  • Excellence in implementation, attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • No prior SEM experience required but preferred; must be interested in data-driven online marketing
  • Fluent in English, additional language a plus
