Gestionnaire des solutions d’expérience linguistique, Mondialisation

L’équipe de mondialisation (Globalization) joue un rôle clé dans la croissance internationale d’ExpediaGroup en adaptant les produits, les marques et les services d’EG à travers le monde, afin d’offrir une expérience exceptionnelle aux voyageurs et aux partenaires, et ce à grande échelle.

Nous recherchons actuellement un(e) gestionnaire expérimenté(e) en solutions d’expérience linguistique afin de superviser le développement et la mise en œuvre de stratégies et de solutions linguistiques sur différents marchés internationaux, dans le but d’assurer une qualité uniforme de l’expérience utilisateur à grande échelle. Cette personne travaillera en étroite collaboration avec les responsables régionaux et les intervenants concernés afin de s’assurer que les programmes répondent aux besoins de l’entreprise, se complètent et bénéficient du soutien efficace de notre équipe de gestionnaires de l’expérience linguistique et de nos fournisseurs.

Ce poste sera basé à Londres (Royaume-Uni), Cancún (Mexique), Sydney (Australie) ou Montréal (Canada) et impliquera une étroite collaboration avec les équipes et les intervenants dans les régions suivantes: Moyen-Orient et Afrique, États-Unis, Canada, Amérique latine et Asie-Pacifique.

Dans ce rôle, vous aurez les responsabilités suivantes:

  • Diriger la stratégie relative aux initiatives mondiales visant à améliorer l’expérience linguistique de nos utilisateurs internationaux, dans toutes les langues, y compris:

  • élaborer et tenir à jour un ensemble complet de documents de référence;

  • développer une solution complète et évolutive pour examiner le contenu en temps réel et déterminer les possibilités d’améliorer l’expérience utilisateur sur les différentes plateformes et dans les différents points de vente, grâce à des mécanismes internes d’assurance qualité et à des sources de rétroaction externes;

  • élaborer un programme d’analyse concurrentielle afin de dégager des occasions d’améliorer l’expérience utilisateur en identifiant et en comprenant les tendances et les pratiques exemplaires de l’industrie.

  • Diriger le développement et la mise en œuvre d’une stratégie complète de gestion de l’expérience linguistique basée sur l’IA générative, en étroite collaboration avec l’équipe des opérations techniques (Technical Operations), en veillant à l’intégration des technologies d’IA avancées dans les processus, les méthodes de travail et les systèmes de l’équipe de gestion de l’expérience linguistique afin de favoriser l’efficacité et les solutions innovantes.

  • Collaborer avec les équipes et les régions afin de garantir une expérience utilisateur harmonieuse et de haute qualité.

  • Participer au processus de conception d’expérience utilisateur, apporter son expertise en matière de nuances linguistiques et culturelles, et collaborer avec d’autres gestionnaires de l’expérience linguistique afin de recueillir des commentaires propres au marché et à la langue.

  • Diriger l’exécution des projets, de leur conception à leur déploiement, jusqu’à leur évaluation ultérieure.

  • Gérer des projets internationaux et favoriser la collaboration entre les gestionnaires de l’expérience linguistique de différentes régions.

  • Agir en tant que conseiller(ère) de confiance auprès de l’entreprise et des membres de l’équipe en ce qui concerne les marchés pertinents, les stratégies commerciales et les environnements opérationnels.

  • Superviser les besoins budgétaires appropriés et les prévisions.

Votre expérience et vos compétences:

  • Capacités de raisonnement stratégique et de priorisation efficace des tâches pour obtenir des résultats dans un environnement dynamique et en évolution

  • Bonne connaissance des outils de traduction, des plateformes CMS et de localisation, y compris l’automatisation de la traduction et de contenu (traduction automatique, grands modèles de langage)

Language Experience Solutions Manager, Globalization

The Globalization team is key in enabling Expedia Group’s international growth by adapting EG’s products, brands and services across the world, delivering a great experience to both travellers and partners alike, at scale.

We are currently looking for an experienced Language Experience Solutions Manager to oversee the development and implementation of language-related strategies and solutions across the different global markets, to ensure a cohesive quality of the user experience at scale. The Solutions Manager works closely with the Regional Managers and relevant stakeholders to ensure the programs align with the business needs, complement each other and are effectively supported by our team of Language Managers and vendors.

This role will be based in the London (UK), Cancun, Sydney or Montreal office and will work closely with teams and stakeholders in EMEA, the US, Canada, Latin America and Asia Pacific.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive the strategy on global initiatives that enhance the language experience for our global users, across all languages, such as:

  • developing and maintaining a comprehensive reference material package

  • developing a comprehensive and scalable solution to review live content and identify opportunities to enhance user experience across the different platforms and points of sale, through internal quality assurance mechanisms and external feedback sources

  • developing a competitive analysis programme to unlock opportunities to elevate user experience by identifying and understanding industry trends and best practices

  • Leading the development and execution of a comprehensive Language Experience GenAI strategy, in close collaboration with the Technical Operations team, ensuring the integration of advanced AI technologies into the Language Experience Management team\’s processes, workflows and systems to drive efficiency and innovative solutions

  • Collaborate across teams and regions to ensure a cohesive, high-quality user experience

  • Participate in UX design process, contributing insight into language and cultural nuances, and work with other LMs to gather market and language-specific feedback

  • Drive the execution of projects from inception to post-deployment review

  • Manage global projects and foster teamwork among LMs from different regions

  • Function as a trusted advisor regarding relevant markets, business strategies and operating environments to both the business and individual team members

  • Oversee the relevant budget needs and forecasting

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Strategic thinking and effective tasks prioritization skills to deliver results in a dynamic and evolving environment

  • Good knowledge of translation tools, CMS and localization platforms, including translation and content automation (MT, LLMs)

  • Capable of planning, organizing and managing resources and activities to achieve specified outcomes within a clearly defined timeframe and standards

  • Demonstrates the necessary knowledge of localization processes, linguistic standards and challenges linked to localization and internationalization processes, tools and standards and leverages this know-how to enhance the user experience

  • Leverages technical knowledge of products to meet customer needs and understands market segments as well as market data trends

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong knowledge of language quality evaluation processes

  • Strong program management and analytical skills, good business acumen and adaptability

  • Has good knowledge of latest trends in technology and quality management within the G11N industry

  • Degree in Translation/Linguistics/Computational linguistics or equivalent relevant experience in the field of language experience, terminology, writing, translation memory management, and quality management at scale

  • Previous experience working in a global environment and with globally distributed teams

  • 5+ years for Bachelor\’s, 3+ years for Master\’s

  • Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one additional language would be a plus

  • Previous experience working in a global environment and with globally distributed teams
