Private Label Solutions (PLS) is the B2B arm of Expedia Group. We open up our supply and innovative technology to businesses looking to take on the world of travel. These businesses, sometimes referred to as our ‘demand partners’, include global financial institutions (e.g. AMEX), corporate managed travel, offline travel agents (e.g. Flight Centre), global travel suppliers (e.g. Delta) and many more.

In this role, you will be responsible for handling PLS’s relationships with our medium existing partners. You will mainly be focused on servicing medium-sized accounts, but there will also be a requirement to identify which smaller sized revenue partners have the potential to grow into medium or large partners in the future. You will partner with accounts mainly through remote work, but there will also be some face-to-face interaction.

In this role you will provide leadership to your portfolio of partners, navigating the PLS organization and involving other teams as needed. You will handle all activity related to your partners and engage technology, customer operations, finance, sales support, analytics, and legal teams as necessary. Partnering closely with business development, you will ensure a smooth account transition process for medium-sized partners and drive strong post-launch results.

In this role, you will

  • Leading a portfolio of around 6 to 10 partners at any given time in the Northern Europe & Southeastern Europe Region.
  • Help our team implement business strategies and position PLS as partner of choice.
  • Accurately diagnose known and unknown partner business needs and collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Technology, Finance, Supply and Site Optimization.
  • Renegotiate and renew contracts with partners to develop mutually beneficial deals for both Expedia and the partner.
  • Identify best practices and proactively share them with affiliate partners.
  • Form strong business relationships remotely (via phone, Zoom, email) and occasionally face to face. Some travel is required (~10% of your time / 20 – 30 days per year).

Who you are

  • Proficiency in English; other European languages are beneficial, preferably Swedish, Dutch, Romanian or German.
  • Minimum 3 years of B2B Account Management experience in the Travel industry, with strong negotiation skills and ability to build long-term strategic relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment.
  • Proven experience working with sales incentives and familiarity with marketing initiatives (SEO, SEM) and analytics.
  • Skilled in navigating complex organizational structures and engaging board-level stakeholders to drive positive decisions.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with a quick learning ability.
