The Associate Market Manager's primary responsibility in his assigned territory is to initiate, develop and maintain a high quality portfolio of hotel products (i.e., relevant, attractive and competitive) for Expedia's fast-growing global customer base. They work continuously with hotel partners to help them maximize production potential from their participation in Expedia marketplace by utilizing the power of Expedia's unique data insights, marketing, distribution and revenue management toolset.

What You'll Do

  • Leverage data specific to their market in Expedient, Expedia's proprietary market insights and activity prioritization dashboard, combined with local market knowledge.
  • Develop and sustain strong partner relationships by providing data insights and consulting services (revenue management advice, marketing opportunities on the Expedia marketplace).
  • Ensure partner hotels’ product (content, rates, availability) is consistently optimized and competitive on Expedia sites to maximize customer conversion.
  • Secure additional inventory during high demand and compression periods and secure seasonal deals, evergreen and dynamic promotions within management guidelines.
  • Promote and develop hotel partners’ engagement with Expedia’s full suite of tools: market insights, revenue management tools, marketing & merchandising opportunities, specialized brands, self‑service tools, connectivity solutions, and key support functions.
  • Execute effectively based on KPI metrics (targets, goals, strategic objectives) set by leadership.
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned.
  • Ensure Expedia’s brands’ global customers always find suitable hotels for their trips, and partners can effectively reach global demand.
