The Procurement Data Analyst is responsible for managing our analytical needs, both at an OpCo and Corporate level. The job holder will work closely with the procurement team, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to help improve our data quality and ultimately aid researchers and scientists across the world to achieve their research mission, faster! This position reports to the Global Senior Director of Procurement and is part of the Procurement Senior Management team located in Cambridge and will be an on-site role.

In This Role You Will

• Support data analysis and compile requirements for Danaher Corporate, including metrics/scorecards (internal and supplier) and maintaining data to track KPI metrics.
• Manage sustainability data requirements with a third party and lead the process between the third party and Abcam Procurement.
• Lead metrics meetings and manage timely updates for all OpCo and Corporate data initiatives, including report building and improving data accuracy through troubleshooting analysis.
• Create supplier scorecards that include supplier performance data and target setting.
• Track progress and create reports that can be used by the procurement team.
• Design data process improvements that will allow efficiency gains.

Essential Requirements

• Results‑oriented, diligent, champions best practices for data governance.
• Knowledge of Oracle and Tableau would be an advantage.
• Expert in Excel (queries, pivot tables and v lookup) and comfortable handling large complex data sets.
• Problem‑solving skills, meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience of working in a procurement function previously.
• Microsoft Power BI Experience.
• Plus if you also possess experience in Life Sciences and/or Pharma Procurement and/or Supply Chain Managing complex data sets from multiple sources.
