Responsibilities
- Perform key activities related to month‑end consolidation and close, ensuring the accuracy of key balance sheet items by working with the wider finance team.
- Prepare monthly files for journal postings and submit journals for internal approval, ensuring SOX compliance.
- Prepare the submission of monthly and quarterly reporting packages to the parent company.
- Produce financial reporting disclosures for subsidiary financial statements.
- Prepare for external audits and internal reviews by working closely with auditors, ensuring deliverables are accurate and meet deadlines.
- Prepare key controls and ensure they operate effectively.
- Interact closely with internal and external stakeholders, including entity finance teams, Finance Business Partners, Tax, Treasury, and audit teams.
Essential Requirements
- Professional qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA or equivalent) and experience within or auditing large, listed multinational businesses; strong technical accounting skills and IFRS knowledge.
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks for multiple stakeholders against deadlines.
- Self‑starter, intellectually curious, capable of working in a high‑growth, fast‑paced environment while being a team player.
- Strong Excel skills, including reconciliation and summarisation of large volumes of data.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Oracle and consolidation systems such as HFM/FCCS.
- Experience with US GAAP accounting and standards.
