Position Overview

We are hiring a FLT (Flexi) Warehouse Colleague to work as part of the wider warehouse team, servicing our in-house 3PL customers. The role focuses on ensuring the smooth processing of outbound orders and inbound receipts for the onsite customers that we support, while delivering excellent standards of service and maintaining high levels of stock integrity and account management across the site.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all tasks and transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner, supporting the overall efficiency of warehouse operations. Working closely with key stakeholders on customer accounts, you will collaborate with colleagues across the wider business who have overlapping responsibilities in delivering a full 3PL service. This is a fast-paced role with many time-sensitive tasks, requiring you to prioritise your workload in line with customer expectations and wider business targets, while managing your time effectively to consistently deliver against operational requirements.

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday // 08:00am - 17:00pm (banked hours)

Salary: £13.30 p/h (monthly pay)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all inbound deliveries are unloaded, checked off, and recorded accurately; highlight any discrepancies to the warehouse manager and supporting admin staff.
  • Ensure that all inbound receipts are labelled correctly and that goods are located within the warehouse using scanners in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Pick customer orders using scanners, ensuring all goods are scanned accurately and picked according to specific criteria for safe transit.
  • Collate and hand in all paperwork associated with inbound and outbound movement of goods in a timely manner.
  • Use packing equipment such as manual and automatic banders and automatic pallet wrappers to secure goods for delivery.
  • Assist and support in stock control and quality audits when required.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe working environment, ensuring housekeeping standards are followed daily.
  • Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained, following all company procedures related to health & safety.
  • Undertake general warehouse duties such as rework, re-palletising products, wrapping pallets, stock checking, pick checking, and any other warehouse requirements needed.
  • Support and work with the Warehouse manager and admin support with information on the account to ensure expectations are met on time and in full.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting their expectations and requirements daily.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork for associated duties including timesheets and check sheets.

Role Requirements:

  • Must hold a Flexi licence.
  • Knowledge of working within a supply and demand warehouse environment.
  • One year’s experience working within a busy warehouse environment, dealing with demanding customers to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working within a 3PL or similar, with multiple types of customers in-house and externally.
  • Experience working with a WMS and scanners to receive goods in and pick orders for customers.
  • Able to work within the parameters of SOPs and documented processes.
