Overview

We\’re looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in Morrisons Swadlincote in the DE11 9AA area. You\’ll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working primarily within The Entertainer concession within Tesco. There may be opportunities to work across other categories including, but not limited to, Books and Entertainment, Health and Beauty.

About the role: This role will primarily be based within Morrisons Swadlincote.

Confirmed working hours: 8 hours

Monday 9:00am – 13:00pm
Thursday 9:00am – 13:00pm
Plus ad hoc work as interested and agreed!

Responsibilities

  • Ensure fixtures are set up effectively and that products and promotions are displayed attractively.
  • Keep shelves well-stocked and aligned with planograms where provided.
  • Follow and implement merchandising standards, store policies and health and safety guidance.
  • Arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
  • Set up promotional displays and signage to communicate prices, discounts, and offers.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with instore colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
  • Provide accurate and timely feedback to client account teams via the feedback application.
  • Move and arrange products from the warehouse to the shopfloor as required.
  • Be comfortable with using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer task questions.
  • Be prepared for home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (paid extra).

  • Full UK driving license and access to a car is required.
