We are looking for an experienced E-commerce Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our unique SaaS portal, empowering E-commerce sellers to scale internationally. In this role, you will be allocated, but also generate and develop leads, converting them into subscriptions that unlock global trade for domestic businesses—becoming the key to their international success. As a full-time team member, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our SaaS, 3PL, and compliance products within the E-commerce sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Sell our software solutions to potential clients in the E-commerce industry by understanding pain points and conducting necessary research.
- Provide clients with an in-depth expansion plan, including utilising our international 3PL portfolio.
- Utilise a consultative sales approach to understand client needs and present customised solutions.
- Generate and nurture ideal client profile leads to subscription close.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Conduct product demonstrations to potential clients via Teams.
- Act as a brand ambassador and represent Expandly at industry events and Expos.
- Build strong relationships with customers.
- Drive the sales process from lead generation to closure, ensuring timely and accurate follow-up with prospects.
- Promote new SaaS products to existing customers and open new accounts within the E-commerce sector.
- Collaborate with other sales team members to share best practices and drive overall team success.
- Send out and agree on contracts.
- Previous experience in E-commerce is essential.
- Previous experience in software sales or 3PL advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and target-driven mindset.
- Knowledge of SaaS and software industry trends, particularly within E-commerce.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effectively manage and expand the sales pipeline within the E-commerce industry, ensuring consistent growth and achievement of sales targets.
- Proactively prospect for new leads and nurture existing leads from marketing campaigns and other sources to build a robust customer base.
- Schedule and conduct product demonstrations, showcasing the value and benefits of our SaaS compliance products to potential clients.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate information on potential customers in ZOHO CRM, ensuring all interactions and progress are meticulously documented.
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.
3 Fixed days in Office (Swanwick Marina, Southampton, Hampshire), 2 days WFH, 9 DAY FORTNIGHT
