We are currently seeking a Project Lead to join one of our clients in Oxfordshire, who is a well funded advanced technology company designing and manufacturing highly complex equipment for the semiconductor industry. Operating within a matrix organisation, the Project Lead will coordinate engineering functions, facilitate key decision-making, and ensure projects remain aligned with timelines, resources, and technical objectives.

Experience in the semiconductor industry is not required, but rather proven experience leading cross-functional engineering teams and managing risk across highly technical programmes.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and delivery of complex engineering and product development projects.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, operations, and supply chain.
  • Manage project schedules, milestones, risks, and change control processes.
  • Facilitate discussions that help engineering teams resolve technical and delivery challenges.
  • Act as the central point of coordination between functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Key qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong experience delivering complex projects within engineering, R&D, or advanced manufacturing environments.
  • Proven ability to manage risk and drive delivery in technically complex programmes.
  • Professional project management certifications (PRINCE2, PMP, APM or similar) are highly advantageous.
