We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Sales Manager to join our Global Sales Team. Based in the UK, this remote role carries significant responsibility for shaping the market strategy, managing key accounts, and driving growth across the UK & Ireland. The Sales Manager will play a leading role in building strong, trusted partnerships with luxury travel agents and select tour operators, ensuring service excellence, and representing EXO as a sustainable, innovative, and reliable partner. This role combines strategy, account management, and business development. It requires a proactive and confident individual who can drive market growth, deliver impactful training and events, and ensure both partners and EXO's destination teams are equipped to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Act as an ambassador for EXO's B Corp values, embedding sustainable tourism principles into all partner engagements and training.
- Develop and execute market strategies with the UK Sales Director to grow high-quality business from luxury travel agents and partner networks.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with luxury travel agents, partner networks, and select tour operators, focusing on both nurturing and strategic account development.
- Identify, qualify, and activate new B2B partners through structured outreach, onboarding, and early-stage support.
- Respond promptly to partner enquiries, collaborating with EXO's global teams to ensure service excellence and issue resolution.
- Guide partners through EXO's systems and tools to increase confidence and engagement.
- Plan and conduct impactful virtual and in-person sales visits, delivering tailored training on destinations, systems, sales tools, and sustainable travel practices.
- Maintain accurate CRM records with notes and follow-ups; monitor partner performance, analyse trends, and share insights to drive improvement.
- Create visually engaging presentations, itineraries, proposals, and trade communications (e.g., newsletters, partner updates).
- Lead the planning and logistics for market-facing events such as trade shows, roadshows, and hosted partner events.
- Support and occasionally host overseas familiarisation trips for travel partners.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and destination teams to align services with market needs, sharing partner feedback to inform wider business decisions.
- Provide guidance to colleagues on complex client issues, contribute to quarterly and annual business plans, and support partner engagement strategies.
Qualifications
- Graduate or Post-Graduate education.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the travel industry (DMC, travel agency, hotelier/trade representation, or tour operator preferred).
- Strong travel trade knowledge, ideally with insight into UK luxury travel agents and B2B supplier relationships.
- Familiarity with at least 2–3 EXO destinations is essential.
- Proficient in travel systems, CRMs, and presentation tools.
- Passion for travel and sustainable tourism.
