As Maintenance Area Manager, you will :
- Manage maintenance teams (Site leaders and direct management of technicians where needed) working on our customer sites deployed in their area
- Execute tasks of Site leader when applicable
- Manage global workload of their area and resource sharing (human & material)
- Challenge the budget regarding material purchasing dedicated to their site scope
- Manage the team and notably, in charge of recruiting and ensuring the proper onboarding, training and development of team members
- Escalate and find solutions to address training gaps and mobilize specifically trained workers between sites
- Collaborate with the Maintain Manager, Service account manager & Maintain engineers to provide the best service to our customers
Requirements
- A degree in Engineering or another technical field
- A UK Higher National Diploma (HND), Higher National Certificate (HNC), BTEC National Diploma (OND), Ieng, CEng or ILM L4+
- Relevant experience as part of a maintenance team in an industrial or production environment that handles a variety of complex business processes
- Relevant experience in managing people in an engineering team
- Relevant experience in liaising and managing relationships between a variety of stakeholders including third-party vendors
- Experience of using data analysis tools and PLC-based control systems
- Experience with project management or Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma processes
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
