As a Maintenance Performance Engineer, You Will:
- Participate in Exotec's maintenance activities and provide operational support.
- Support field maintenance teams in day‑to‑day troubleshooting and technical tasks.
- Visit Exotec customer sites to understand their logistics and production needs.
- Perform retrofit maintenance tasks on systems and machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Report system issues to both clients and internal Exotec teams with clarity and accuracy.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems, maintenance procedures, and operational processes.
- Assist in the deployment of new systems or machines on customer sites.
- Conduct software updates on systems in accordance with Exotec guidelines.
- Respond quickly to emergency situations, escalating and requesting additional assistance when required.
- Serve as a key point of contact with relevant suppliers regarding specific maintenance issues.
- Provide advanced technical support to Exotec's field maintenance teams when your expertise is needed.
- Perform detailed problem analysis to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
- Carry out any other tasks relevant to the position or aligned with the team's scope.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree, ideally with a specialization in IT, robotics, or industrial automation.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in technical customer support for applications, software, and/or hardware.
- Strong comfort working in software‑oriented environments, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.
- Broad foundational knowledge in electronics, mechanics, and automation.
- High level of autonomy, strong rigor, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
