Exos is hiring a Tactical Physical Therapist to work with military personnel to prevent potential injuries associated with flying and maneuvering aircraft. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable, resume building experience in a tactical setting while working with fighter Aircrew to optimize their physical readiness and long-term health.

Tactical Physical Therapists will work as part of a multi-disciplinary performance team and perform the following duties:

  • Reviews and evaluates Aircrew records to determine physical therapy treatment requirements.
  • Performs tests, measurements and evaluations and record findings to aid in developing and/or revising specifics of the treatment program or training program.
  • Administers appropriate treatment as indicated. Instructs, motivates, and assists Aircrew to achieve their goals.
  • Updates treatment plan and/or reevaluates patients as needed to ensure optimal outcome.
  • Documents work performed in approved electronic record systems.
  • Comply with all DHA, DoD, and MTF protocols.
  • Interacts and consults with other medical services.
  • Educate Aircrew and leadership on injury prevention, ergonomics, and recovery strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy from CAPTE-accredited program.
  • 5+ years' experience as a PT in Collegiate, Professional, Olympic, Tactical (military), Aerospace industry, or similar environment supporting man-machine high-performance. Experience must include recency within the last 2 years.
  • Current CPR certification including AED certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Current (or ability to obtain and maintain) Secret security clearance (T3 background investigation).
  • At least one of the following: ABPTS OCS or SCS certification; or Orthopedic or Sports residency/Fellowship Trained; or Advanced Dry Needling Certification (Level 2) and Orthopedic Manual Therapy (OMT) Certification.
