Exos is hiring a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach to work with military personnel to prevent potential injuries and enhance performance associated with flying and maneuvering aircraft. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable resume building experience in a tactical setting while working with fighter Aircrew to maximize physical warfighting capacity and long-term health.

Certified Strength and Conditioning Coaches will work as part of a multi-disciplinary performance team and perform the following duties:

  • Conduct initial evaluations and performance assessments and develop individualized programs focused on neck and back conditioning.
  • Guide the implementation of individualized programs, ensuring alignment with human performance objectives, injury prevention strategies, and the aircrew's overall healthcare plan.
  • Serve as a human performance advisor to unit commanders, providing recommendations on injury prevention, program improvements, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and fitness program protocols.
  • Maintain a safe training environment by ensuring proper equipment usage, reporting safety concerns, and advising on facility layout and exercise protocols.
  • Document work performed and performance data in approved electronic record systems.
  • Interact and consult with other human performance services.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in Human Performance, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field.
  • National Strength and Conditioning (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCCa) Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC).
  • 5+ years of full-time experience as a Strength & Conditioning Specialist in collegiate (or higher), professional, or tactical athletics; aerospace industry, test pilot/astronaut or similar man-machine high-performance environment.
  • Current CPR certification including AED certification.
  • Current (or ability to obtain and maintain) Secret security clearance (T3 background investigation).
