£55,000 - £65,000 (plus bonus and benefits)

A Project Engineer is wanted on a permanent basis by a global client of ours Exolum, who are at the forefront of their industry and going through a real period of growth.

In this role, the successful candidate will manage the programme of works for the cleaning, inspection and repair of tanks, pipelines and other various projects.

This is a permanent opportunity that includes a base salary of between £55,000 - £65,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications plus bonuses and benefits.

Overview of the Project Engineer role

  • Be a key contributor to the improvement of project management systems, procedures and workflows.
  • Plan and manage the programme of works for Engineering Projects in line with company standards and relevant and UK / European legislation e. g. ATEX, PLSG, API, EEMUA etc.
  • Develop the scope of works based on 3rd party inspection reports/data.
  • Develop budgets and forecasts for programmes of work.

Key skills required for the Project Engineer role

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills both internally and externally.
  • Possess a working knowledge of COMAH, MOC, and CDM regulations with previous experience of working within Major Accident Hazard environments.
