The Risk Technology team is looking to hire bright, motivated candidates with a strong background in Computer Science and Mathematics. A strong foundation in Data Structure and Algorithms, expertise in one or more programming languages and database management systems is essential. The candidate will be working closely with the business counterparts in Risk on both the Fixed Income and Equities side. In addition, the candidate would work with the risk tech team to architect and develop robust, low-latency, scalable solutions and help the team support the Risk business.
Responsibilities:- Develop scalable/high performance solutions for low-latency Risk calculations
- Liaise with Risk managers to understand the business requirements
- Work as a part of a team of strong developers
- Support Risk Systems and be a part of End of Day support cycle
- Implement Best Practices and ensure a robust Risk Tech Framework
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field
- Strong analytical and problem skills
- Self-Motivated, passionate, capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in Multi-threading, Client-Server and Distributed computing
- Good understanding of various Design Patterns, Algorithms and Data structures
- Experience working with SQL
- Mathematical skills, with interest and exposure to quantitative finance
- Excellent communication skills
- Exposure to AWS/Cloud Technologies
- Exposure to PYTHON/Pandas
- Exposure to JAVA/Spring/SpringBoot/Microservices framework
- Exposure to AI/ML
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture
- Exposure to messaging libraries
- Good understanding of CI/CD; Unit and Integration testing
- Experience working in Linux environment
- Exposure to Finance and pricing of basic instruments
- Exposure to NoSQL databases
