We provide independent advice and have extensive experience with projects across the UK, ranging from tidal saltmarsh to freshwater fen environments. This is a full-time (39hrs), on-site role for an Ecologist located in the Greater Norwich Area, United Kingdom. The Ecologist will be responsible for conducting field work, performing environmental impact assessments, writing detailed reports, and studying wildlife and botany. The role includes collaborating with various stakeholders to design and implement eco-friendly projects while ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting sustainable practices.

Qualifications

  • Field Work and Environmental Impact Assessment skills
  • Expertise in Wildlife and Botany
  • Bat survey level 1 licence
  • Experience in Report Writing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field
  • Experience with ecological consultancy work is a plus
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel for site visits
