Salary: £30k to £35k plus 15% quarterly bonus
Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individuals to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing property insurance claims, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and complete. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and clerical skills, enabling them to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Key Objectives
To effectively & efficiently handle an end to end caseload of either Travel insurance claims from instruction until completion of the works, ensuring that all parties involved are fully informed on progress of the claim. Also, ensuring that the costs of the claim are controlled.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Claim Opening – Secondary Notification of Loss
- Supplier allocation
- Inbound and outbound call handling
- First point of contact for customers
- Effective customer | Insurer communication
- Ensuring service level agreements are adhered to on all Travel claims
- Authorisation of insurance claims
- Applying effective cost control
- Updating jobs in Pulse to maintain job records
- Handling low level complaints (Refer to Complaints Handling Manual)
- Ensuring data is handled responsibly and compliant with the Data Protection Act
- Supply Chain Compliance
- Supply Chain Database administration
Responsibilities and Outputs
- Adherence to call performance measures (Quantity & Quality)
- Low level complaints on claims handled
- Adherence to company policies & procedures
- Control of suppliers to ensure high service quality
- Ongoing communication with all relevant parties to ensure clear understanding of the claim progress.
- Minimise claim lifecycles
- Achievement of productivity & targets
- Ensuring all suppliers are fully compliant
Skills and Requirements
- 2 year minimum of Travel, IPMI or Medical Assistance experience
- CII Certificate In Insurance qualified preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication skills and a positive can do attitude.
