We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Live-In Housekeeping Staff for a busy 26‑bedroom hotel located on Exmoor. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and cleanliness to contribute to maintaining a pristine environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all hotel areas are clean, comfortable, and welcoming, providing exceptional service in a fast‑paced hospitality setting.

Duties:

  • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Maintain high standards of floor care through sweeping, mopping, and polishing to ensure a spotless appearance.
  • Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organising linens and towels.
  • Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas to ensure availability of amenities.
  • Conduct routine janitorial tasks to uphold cleanliness standards throughout the hotel.
  • Assist with custodial responsibilities including waste disposal and minor maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Support hotel management with housekeeping management duties to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of hospitality‑level cleaning methods is advantageous.
  • Experience in hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
