We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Live-In Housekeeping Staff for a busy 26‑bedroom hotel located on Exmoor. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and cleanliness to contribute to maintaining a pristine environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all hotel areas are clean, comfortable, and welcoming, providing exceptional service in a fast‑paced hospitality setting.
Duties:
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain high standards of floor care through sweeping, mopping, and polishing to ensure a spotless appearance.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organising linens and towels.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas to ensure availability of amenities.
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks to uphold cleanliness standards throughout the hotel.
- Assist with custodial responsibilities including waste disposal and minor maintenance tasks as needed.
- Support hotel management with housekeeping management duties to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of hospitality‑level cleaning methods is advantageous.
- Experience in hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a live‑in role with flexible hours.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Own transport essential as little or no public transport links in Exmoor area.
