Exlabesa is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician for its Doncaster plant with the following mission:
A qualified electrician will repair and maintain electrical equipment associated with manufacturing machinery and circuits installed across our facilities. This includes automated production machinery, cranes, lighting, switch panels, and MCC connection devices.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot electrical faults and repair production machinery.
- Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) on electrical systems.
- Install new equipment and modify existing machinery.
- Repair and replace defective parts.
- Assist in updating equipment safety systems.
- Work with PLCs, ladder logic, and electrical/electronic schematics.
- Support the Maintenance Manager in updating and maintaining current production equipment and controls.
- Ensure machinery operates correctly and communicate effectively with operations and maintenance teams to resolve deficiencies or implement modifications.
- Conduct preventive maintenance through regular inspections.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex automated machinery.
- Familiarity with temperature controllers, PLCs, HMIs, and variable frequency drives.
- Ability to work cohesively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of the principles, methods, and equipment used in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems; relevant state regulations, codes, and ordinances; safety practices, safe working methods, and safety regulations.
