We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a strong analytical background and deep expertise in SAS programming, data analysis, and credit risk. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in Capital, IFRS 9, and Stress Testing frameworks, and a proven ability to assess and influence complex risk processes. This role requires someone who can take ownership of critical tasks, work independently, and partner closely with the Product Owner to drive strategic changes across risk science processes.
Responsibilities
- Investigate potential changes to Risk Science processes, including assessing model impacts and reviewing model documentation.
- Understand and evaluate the BAU (Business‑As‑Usual) process, identifying how it operates in practice.
- Assess the impact of proposed changes and recommend necessary adjustments to processes and controls.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (DMO, data teams, etc.) to plan and sequence changes effectively.
- Provide expert guidance on model fundamentals, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Take ownership of emerging tasks related to core responsibilities, complementing the Product Owner with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Strong SAS programming background, with experience in data analysis and validation.
- Solid understanding of Capital, IFRS 9, and Stress Testing methodologies.
- Ability to interpret and review complex risk models and documentation.
- Proven experience in assessing process impacts and implementing operational changes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
