As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:

  • Drive sales into new accounts and expand into new buying centres within existing accounts across EXL’s full suite of solutions in the Manufacturing, Retail, and broader consumer industries space.
  • Identify and connect with senior executives across the UK and Europe within non-financial services organisations, including CXOs (e.g., Chief Financial Officer, Chief Supply Chain Officer, Chief Digital Officer).
  • Develop and position relevant use cases across Manufacturing, Retail, and CPG, including finance transformation, working capital optimisation, supply chain finance, digital operations, and advanced analytics to address client challenges and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead origination through to deal closure (signed contract) and ensure seamless transition to delivery teams.
  • Actively pursue a defined set of target accounts to acquire new logos within Manufacturing and Retail sectors, while expanding existing relationships.
  • Build and leverage relationships with third-party advisors and technology partners relevant to non-financial services ecosystems (e.g., digital commerce, supply chain platforms, customer data platforms).
  • Collaborate with EXL’s service delivery, solution design, and marketing teams to create industry-relevant value propositions aligned to Manufacturing and Retail clients.
  • Stay current on industry trends across Manufacturing, Retail and CPG, including supply chain disruption, cost optimisation, digital commerce, and data-driven decision making.
  • Cultivate deep relationships with client stakeholders and maintain a strong executive presence within target industries.

Qualifications and experience we consider to be essential for the role:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex deals across multiple service lines within Manufacturing, Retail, CPG or other non-financial sectors.
  • Strong network and existing relationships with decision-makers across especially in finance, operations, digital and supply chain functions.
  • Proven ability to manage consultative, integrated solutions spanning domain expertise, analytics, digital transformation, and F&A outsourcing within non-financial industries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organisational levels, including C-suite.
  • High-energy, results-driven mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a global, multicultural environment.

Skills and Personal attributes we would like to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years of sales and business development experience, with strong experience in Manufacturing, Retail, CPG or related non-financial service industries.
  • Proven track record of success in UK & EMEA markets, including ability to navigate regional and cultural nuances.
  • Strong understanding of industry-specific challenges in non-financial sectors (e.g., margin pressure, supply chain efficiency, inventory optimisation, digital commerce transformation) and how F&A, analytics, and digital solutions can drive value.
