We are currently seeking an Insurance Data Analytics Engagement Manager to join our team. As an Analytics Engagement Manager, you will play a vital role in developing and nurturing new business opportunities; managing projects and accounts for our insurance clients; ensuring the seamless implementation and integration of data management and analytics solutions while fostering long‑lasting relationships.
As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:
- Business Development: Conduct market and account analysis to identify potential business opportunities, market trends, and competitive intelligence. Identify opportunities for growth through increased penetration of existing and new product offerings, competitive displacement, and process improvement within portfolio.
- Account Management: Work with large existing Personal and Commercial lines insurance and broker accounts, understanding their analytics, data management & cloud related needs and challenges. Invest time in developing a deep understanding of the client’s strategy and critical business challenges and map this to a detailed account plan to expand existing services.
- Use case Delivery: Lead dual‑shore teams to deliver targeted analytical use cases and projects in functional areas like Claims, Underwriting, Marketing, Sales and Services, Operations, Finance and Actuarial.
- Analytics Solutions: Work closely with our technical & architecture teams to understand, build and present analytics solutions tailored to each client’s requirements.
- Technology Expertise: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Analytics, Gen AI, data management technologies and industry trends. Utilize this knowledge to showcase the benefits and competitive advantages of our data offerings to clients.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues in different departments, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer support, to foster a cohesive and customer‑focused approach to our solutions.
- Relationship Building: Build and nurture a strong network and connect with Heads of Business Functions, Data & Analytics Directors and other data analytics professionals in the assigned insurance client portfolio.
- Thought-Leadership: Represent the company as a subject matter expert in data management and analytics during industry events, conferences, and webinars. Contribute to thought leadership materials and establish the company’s position as a leader in the field.
Qualifications and experience we consider to be essential for the role:
- Demonstrated experience of working with consulting or suppliers into Tier 1 Insurance accounts, with a proven track record spanning 8-14 years.
- Experience of working with insurance clients in UK market (General Insurance - personal line, commercial, specialty and London market insurer or Life Insurance).
- Specialization in Analytics/Data Management/ Cloud enablement/Generative AI, possessing the expertise to streamline analytics and data‑related processes and ensure data quality and security.
- Familiarity with Cloud technologies and their application in analytics and data management processes.
- Familiarity with Insurance Policy and Claim Data, Underwriting and Pricing processes, Analytics and Digital Operations within insurance carriers and brokers.
- Mature understanding of underwriting, and claim principles, cost drivers and appreciation of the changing insurance data and technology landscape.
