EXL’s Insurance (Broker and London Markets) team is successfully transforming the London Market in alignment with the new Lloyd’s digitisation standards Blueprint 2.0 leveraging deep domain expertise, customer intelligence, dynamic analytics, artificial intelligence, automation and other digital tools, paving the way for a richer, more integrated and personalised user experience.

What the role entails:
- Build and nurture a strong network and connect with Heads of Transformation, Heads of Change, Operations Directors in the assigned portfolio
- Work with large Brokers, Underwriters and MGAs in the Lloyds market to deliver annual revenue and gross margin goals and ensure client satisfaction results.
- Integrate and align with the Blueprint 2.0 standards helping customers with large digital transformation plans and deployment
- Orchestrate an external partnership network to deliver best in class solutions to client problems across the London Insurance market
- Invest time in developing a deep understanding of the client’s strategy and critical business challenges and map this to a detailed account plan to expand existing services
- Identify opportunities for growth through increased penetration of existing and new product offerings, competitive displacement and process improvement within the portfolio
Experience and background required:
- Minimum 10 years of experience working within the Broker and London Insurance market
- Proven experience of senior level account management across insurance stakeholders, including complex insurance carrier and/or broker organizations.
- Key levels of understanding of Policy and Claim Operations, Analytics and Digital Operations/BPS including emerging data and Blueprint 2.0.
- Strong understanding of underwriting and claim principles and cost drivers, and fluent with the changing landscape of insurance process delivery
Behavioural competence:
- Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills
- Advanced presentation skills, coupled with solid executive presence and the ability to establish
- Good people management skills - highly professional in dealings with clients and co-workers
- Ability to deal with unexpected and/or delicate situations calmly and with sound judgment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure
