My client, a top tier bank, is looking to hire a mid-level Structured Products Lawyer on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have a minimum 5 PQE from a top law firm or equivalent financial services institution.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with internal RSP governance policies and procedures in partnership with legal, compliance, risk and other stakeholders.
- Chairing the internal RSP working group and ensuring any business initiatives are scrutinised.
- Assisting with running the internal RSP governance committee including finalising the materials for the committee.
- Adapting the RSP Governance framework in response to changes in regulation, market practice as well as business initiatives.
- Reviewing RSP metrics to identify trends or themes that could inform any changes to policies or processes.
- Playing a central role in responding to regulatory enquiries.
- Attending and contributing to relevant industry forums pertaining to RSP matters.
