This is an exciting in-house Legal Counsel role in finance transactions supporting an infrastructure fund in developing markets.
As Legal Counsel you are supporting the legal team of an impact investments business to fund infrastructure projects that help developing markets, especially in low-income economies. The role focuses on transactions with regard to multi-jurisdictional legal matters.
Within this development finance role, you will be providing legal advice on transactions with little or no legal precedence, as well as reviewing guarantees and recourse agreements. You will also draft and review NDAs, mandate letters, term-sheets, commercial contracts and other legal documentation. Your role as Legal Counsel also includes working closely with local counsel, assisting with selecting and appointing them on transactions and supporting legal training of the team.
The successful candidate will have around 5PQE+ with a finance transactions background, an excellent understanding of LMA documentation and legal transaction management experience. French language skills are essential.
