Job Description
The business offers a wide array of strategic advisory, shareholder advisory, restructuring and special situations and private fund advisory and placement services to corporations, financial sponsors, institutional investors and governments around the world. You will get exposure to a wide range of revenue streams in this growing organisation.Â
Objective of the team/role
Based in London, the International Finance team is responsible for the financial, regulatory and tax reporting requirements of the UK, Spain, German, France, Hong Kong and Japan operating entities. The successful candidate will help manage the day-today operations of the International Finance team, including the accounting and general ledger control of the international entities, financial reporting and analysis, treasury and cash management, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role will report directly into the Head of International Finance. Some of the key responsibilities are:
- The preparation of monthly financial statements, quarterly filings, and other regulatory reports
- Delivering all aspects of the monthly close including performing general ledger account variance analysis, working closely both the International (London based) and US (New York based) finance team
- Working directly with the Head of International Finance and Global Finance Controller on strategic initiatives and other ad hoc projects
- Assist with reporting and disclosure requirements under US GAAP for quarterly and annual SEC reporting
- Monthly management reporting (e.g., Board and operating committee deck preparation, cash flows analysis and expense analysis)
- Manage, mentor and support the Finance team in the performance of their respective responsibilities
You need to be a qualified accountant with significant post qualified experience in a managerial capacity within Financial Services, ideally Investment Banking or Asset Management with the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
