The role Development and maintenance of a comprehensive data governance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Monitoring data quality and metrics and compliance with standards across the organization. Identification and addressing of data management risks and gaps. Development and implementation of a data governance strategy that aligns with the bank\’s overall data management strategy and business objectives. Provision of Group wide guidance and training on Data Management standard requirements. Experience required: Banking industry experience, ideally within large matrixed organisations. Deep knowledge of data governance frameworks, data risk management and regulatory expectations such as BCBS 239. Previous experience in implementing and operating data governance controls. Previous experience implementing risk and control frameworks within the context of data and records management.
