Our Client, a leading Investment Manager, has an opening for a Settlements Clerk to join the team.
The role involves:
- Monitoring CREST checking/failed reports, identifying, investigating, and resolving settlement issues, and liaising with relevant market makers as necessary.
- Administering and verifying redemptions and subscriptions of directly held Unit Trusts, Cofunds net settlement, and Fund Settle orders.
- Conducting Transaction Reporting (MIFID II) duties, including re-reporting exercises and investigation of rejections.
- Performing general trade amendments and monitoring the group mailbox.
- Analyzing, resolving, and implementing solutions for errors, and liaising with relevant departments.
- Coordinating and processing placings and hedge fund orders, including managing upfront payments.
- Investigating and resolving reconciliation breaks, including monitoring of the E-Log.
- Adhering to CASS rules to support compliance and audit processes.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience within financial services.
