Eximious Furniture Ltd designs, manufactures, and installs bespoke corporate furniture and joinery. Delivering specialist joinery and fit-out contracts, we have worked on some of the most prestigious commercial projects in London. Our commercial reputation for quality is replicated throughout our team, ensuring every project is designed, manufactured and installed with distinction.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Designer to join our team to prepare all types of design work, from presentation drawings through to detailed production drawings, using 2D/3D CAD and rendering packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with the Sales Team to take detailed customer design briefs and provide advice
- Generating innovative and original design ideas to win new business and service existing customers
- Produce detailed engineering drawings in line with the quotes for the client sign off
- Produce accurate production drawings relating to quoted items, always considering the most cost-effective methods of manufacture
- Provide accurate and detailed drawings for the CNC department
- Helping and supporting other members of the design team where necessary
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a skilled and detail-focused designer with experience in bespoke furniture, joinery, or manufacturing environments, and a strong understanding of CAD-based design processes.
About you:
- A strong working knowledge of AutoCAD (2D and 3D)
- Proven experience in a similar design or engineering role
- Knowledge of fabrication techniques and CNC machining processes
- The ability to translate technical requirements into accurate design solutions
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
