About the Role
At Eximious Furniture, we specialise in the design and manufacture of high-quality bespoke corporate furniture, tailored to each client’s individual requirements. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Designer, Programmer and Operator to join our small, friendly, and skilled team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a background in bespoke joinery or furniture manufacturing who takes pride in precision, quality, and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- CNC design, programming, and operation within a bespoke joinery environment
- Working with Biesse CNC machining centres
- Producing components to exact specifications using AutoCAD
- Interpreting architectural drawings and client specifications
- Ensuring consistently high standards of quality and finish
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in CNC design, programming, and operation (joinery/woodworking)
- Experience working with Biesse CNC machinery
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of timber and solid surface materials, joinery techniques, and finishing processes
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read and interpret technical and architectural drawings
- NVQ / City & Guilds in Joinery, Furniture Making, CNC Machining, or equivalent experience
- Additional training in CAD programming (advantageous, but not essential)
