We are looking for a MIG Welder and Fabricator to join our dynamic team in Aylesford, where we specialize in the fabrication and assembly of high-quality steel components. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and our supportive work environment.
Shift
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM β 4:00 PM
- Overtime available
Pay rate: Β£15-Β£20 depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture sub-assemblies using MIG welding to support the main assembly bays.
- Produce main assemblies by MIG welding up to the paint stage.
- Sand and grind components or assemblies to remove splatter and ensure optimal fit.
- Assemble all components using power and hand tools.
- Ensure sound weld joints and a good cosmetic finish.
- Monitor all welding processes to prevent shrinkage and distortion.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required.
Qualifications And Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of MIG welding experience.
- Ability to lift components and stand for long periods while manual MIG welding.
- Proficient in interpreting 3rd angle projection drawings..
