We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and customer‑focused administrator with excellent organisational skills to join our Sales team, within a fast‑paced industry.
Reports To: Sales & Business Development Manager
Date: January 2025
Duties and Responsibilities:
- First point of contact for the Air Heater Team, to offer full cover when Sales Team are travelling and to cover Maternity Leave.
- To learn and fully understand the Standard Product portfolio of air heaters and controls.
- Maintain and update the CRM database (Microsoft Dynamics AX).
- Receive, analyse, and acknowledge sales enquiries, including verification of client details and obtaining any other applicable information either by telephone or email.
- Generate standard product quotations as required.
- Understand our internal proposal programme, costing special designs and heating calculations (room sizing, enclosures and cabinet heating).
- Follow up quotation status with customers from various reports.
- Prepare and email documentation/certification requirements to customers.
- Ensure all quotations meet customer requirements/project specifications, and comply with all Exheat specifications and regulations.
- Create and update stock codes.
- Perform general office duties and support the full Sales team, including holiday cover for Order Processing.
- Provide monthly reporting to the full sales team.
- Some progression available to support the Immersion Heater team thereafter.
Key Skills:
- You must be organised, friendly and helpful.
- Excellent communication skills and computer literate.
- Flexible and able to prioritise a changing to‑do list.
- Trustworthy, reliable and happy to work in a team environment.
- Good analytical skills.
- A minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths.
- A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, with order processing and/or generating proposals/quotations experience.
- Foreign languages would be an advantage.
- Full driving licence.
