Due to the expansion of the Project team, we are looking for another member of the team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Overall management of assigned manufacturing contracts of engineered products.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in multidiscipline high value engineering/manufacturing projects within the O&G industry or similar.
- Expertise in project management of the whole life cycle of projects from order to final delivery.
- Capability to liaise with client, sub-vendors, Engineers, Project Buyer and Shop Floor Supervisors to discuss and resolve technical, production and commercial issues relating to agreed output.
- Willingness and availability to attend on/off site client meetings as required by the company.
- Comfortable with the following tasks:
- Project plan creation, maintenance and management (project milestones, critical path identification and ownership).
- Clarification, Change, Risk and Documentation management.
- Project procurement management/involvement.
- Reporting on a regular basis to internal and external stakeholders.
- Costs control and management.
- Inspection and certification management.
Desirable:
- A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Familiarity with the following software capabilities and occasional use of: Microsoft AX, Ceaser II, STAAD, Creo3 (ProE), AutoCAD, MS Project and MS Office suite. Software and training will be provided where necessary.
- Technical bid evaluation experience.
