Due to the expansion of the Project team, we are looking for another member of the team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Overall management of assigned manufacturing contracts of engineered products
- Minimum 5 years experience in multidiscipline high value engineering/manufacturing projects within O&G industry or similar
- Expertise in project management of the full life cycle of projects from order to final delivery
- Capability to liaise with client, sub-vendors, Engineers, Project Buyer and Shop Floor Supervisors to discuss and resolve technical, production and commercial issues relating to agreed output
- Willingness and availability to attend on/off site client meetings as required by the company
- Comfortable with the following tasks:
- Project plan creation, maintenance and management (project milestones, critical path identification and ownership)
- Clarification, change, risk and documentation management
- Project procurement management/involvement
- Reporting on a regular basis to internal and external stakeholders
- Cost control and management
- Inspection and certification management
Desirable
- A degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent relevant work experience
- Familiarity with the following software capabilities and occasional use of: Microsoft AX, Ceaser II, STAAD, Creo3 (ProE), AutoCAD, MS Project and MS office suite. Software and training will be provided where necessary
- Technical bid evaluation experience
