The starting salary will be from £43,482 on Grade F, depending on knowledge, skills and experience.

About You
We place a high value on the expertise of Project Managers who bring clarity, structure, and momentum to complex initiatives. You will be someone who thrives on navigating ambiguity, uncovering root causes, and driving forward solutions that deliver meaningful and sustainable improvements across the institution. Your ability to plan meticulously, anticipate risks, and keep delivery on track will be essential to ensuring successful outcomes.
To excel in this role, you will build strong, trust‑based relationships with colleagues at all levels, working collaboratively with academic, professional services, and technical teams. You will be confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, balancing competing priorities, and ensuring that project objectives remain aligned with strategic goals.
You should be skilled in core project management disciplines, including project planning and scheduling, risk and issue management, benefits realisation, governance, resource coordination, and reporting. Experience of delivering change in complex, service‑focused environments—particularly within higher education or similarly regulated sectors—will be especially valuable.
You will be a proactive communicator and a natural facilitator, able to bring people together, support decision‑making, and create the conditions for successful change. Above all, you will be committed to delivering high‑quality outcomes that enhance the experience of students, staff, and wider stakeholders.
