Experienced in diagnostics and looking for a change? This opportunity is to join our small team within this busy independent dealership based on Marsh Barton. We are looking to recruit a Senior Diagnostic Technician to support our sales, warranty work and service our customers' vehicles. You will work on all makes and models of diesel and LCV vehicles. Your expertise and knowledge will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.
- Conducting repairs and maintenance on various types of commercial vehicles.
- Diagnosing faults along with some basic servicing, brakes, cambelts etc.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues.
- Assembling and disassembling equipment as needed.
- Performing routine inspections to identify potential problems.
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient operations.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to lift heavy objects as required.
- Welding experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 with 30 minutes for lunch. Alternate Saturdays 08:00 - 12:00.
