Passionate about the environment. Want to work for the City of Exeter to help deliver a better future. Come work in our recycling facility helping to keep recycling in the economy. Full training given. Driving license is desirable. Positive and flexible and willing to undergo training. Team work is at the core of our business.

About the role:

  • Working 5 days out of 7 and 37 hours per week with overtime possible.
  • Core activity is to work in the MRF team delivering exacting standards sorting and handling recyclables.
  • Training available to operate machinery.
  • Candidates will work to strict Health and Safety protocols on site.
  • Full uniform and protective equipment issued.

About the team:

The MRF team work together to process materials to sell in the secondary commodity markets. This income supports the delivery of the service and moves the authority to achieve its net Zero 2030 vision. The team are passionate about the environment, friendly and supportive of others with common goals.
